An Arctic Road Trip - Exploring Mjelle Beach & Kjerringøy near Bodø

Bodø has lots of gorgeous gems to offer and that's why I just can't stop recommending you to visit the region! One of those gems I had the pleasure to visit on a really moody day this summer was Mjelle Beach!

I was actually trying to find Hovden, which is a beach close to Mjelle that's all over Instagram and which looks like the most incredibly and non-Arctic place you could ever imagine. I mean seriously, look at this:

However, the weather was terrible so we only got around to exploring Mjelle Beach and Kjerringøy. Only is the wrong word, though. These two places were so stunning, even in the terrible weather. But see for yourself:
